1. Plan your weekends. Fatigue can be very stressful. Most people spend their weekends sleeping but they do not solve the “Monday cases.” Instead of sleeping the weekend away, try to do somethings solid. In the weekend morning, breathe some fresh air. Go biking or attend an exercise class. Packing your weekend with refreshing activities can affect your Mondays in a positive way.
2. Plan your week. Monday is the beginning of a massive five-day workweek, but you don’t need to be preoccupied with deadlines. During the week, plan the time to relieve your stress by bonding with friends at a more personal level. Maybe you can do something creative like attending a painting class of reading a novel. Something to look forward to through the week creates a spark on your Mondays.
3. Be a blessing to others. Do an act of kindness to someone every Monday. Make it a “pay it forward” day. Doing something thoughtful for someone can lift your spirit and gives a new purpose for your Mondays.
