3. Preserve anything you can for future use. You can buy seasonal items and freeze them. Herbs as well as fruits and vegetables can be kept in the fridge, too. But best of all, it is great to grow your own food. You can turn to your backyard and plant vegetables and herbs, especially those that are available only in their season.
