1. It’s Difficult to Start Syndrome. To get started is the most difficult part of accomplishing any goal, including saving. However, you have to start somewhere. As you receive your paycheck, put in some pennies. As you see those small coins add up to something, your motivation will increase and going through your goals would be easier.
2. The Comparison Disorder. Do not compare yourself with others. Someone around you may save more, invest more, and accomplish more. And I want you to know that that will never change. Instead, use the achievements of others to inspire you to monitor your own progress and move on.
3. Keep Up with the Joneses Disease. Like the Comparison Disorder, this disease is equally dangerous. This does not mean that you don’t need luxuries. You just need to prioritize and focus. Do not spend your energy on impressing others.
