1. Leave at least one day each week as spend-free day. Using your credit cards indicates much money you either have or do not have. One of the ways to keep you from drowning in insurmountable debts is to track your spending, which in itself is already a tedious job. In order to remain with your monthly budget, assign one day each week as a day when you will not spend anything, whether cash or credit.
2. Pay your bills immediately. You don’t have to wait for the due dates before you make payments. If you have the cash now, pay now. Remember, you want to spare yourself from the thought of unpaid bills hanging over your head.
3. Avoid checking your balances every day. The more you take a look at your loan balances, the more you become anxious with how long it would take you to fully settle your loan. Looking at your balances cannot eradicate your loan so you better use your time making other worthwhile things.
